What with Brooklyn Bridge Park now making our waterfront zone even — lovelier — the housing prices just keep going up. This week the famous three-floor, 7,000 square foot clock tower penthouse in Dumbo, owned by Two Trees developers, made headlines when it went on the market, asking $50,000 a month in rent for a two-year lease (that’s $1.2 million in rental payments over two years.)
It’s now been taken off the rental market and is for sale for $23 million. Formerly the most expensive sale in Brooklyn an $11 million deal for a Gravesend home, according to The Real Deal, which has the skinny on the clock tower property, which you can see from the Brooklyn Bridge.
