Smith Street is getting a welcome addition for the menfolk: a barbershop with stylish cuts, free beer and free shiatsu massage. I foresee a line out the door. “Persons of Interest” has now opened in the space inhabited for 30 years by Sal’s Hairstylists on Smith between Union and Sackett, reports New York Magazine. The shop has been vacant since the passing of well-known Giorgio “Sal the Barber” Zocco, in April. The barbers hail from upscale chop shops Spiff and Deluxe, the magazine says, and cuts are $40.
