The New York Post has a story about a nine-month-old puppy from Carroll Gardens who’s been tweeting since late October and has 1,775 followers. That is either inspiring or terrifying. I think terrifying.
The tweet-er is of course the dog’s owner, Gabriel Delahaye, who tweets @birdiepup as if he’s his shiba inu puppy, Birdie, about eating food off the sidewalk and that sort of thing. Delahaye says he started the ghost writing effort because he was bored. Remember when George Bush Sr.’s wife Barbara wrote a book from the point of view of her English Springer Spaniel? Anyway.
