Rents have skyrocketed in Brooklyn in the past decade, as we all know, and now reports are coming out showing that per-square-foot prices in some areas like Cobble Hill and Williamsburg are equalling those in areas like Upper East Side and the Financial District. And it’s not getting better: experts expect the rents here to continue to rise and spread to more neighborhoods. Everyone will need a raise.
