Carroll Gardens Murder Trial

By Lisa M. Collins

Teen John Katehis was convicted of murder and faces life in prison in the grisly murder of WABC newsman and Carroll Gardens resident George Weber, in 2009.

Weber was stabbed 50 times in a bondage-sex tryst with Katehis, who he met on Craigslist. Weber was found in his home on Henry St. between Carroll and President.

The first trial ended in a mistrial; the second trial began last week.
