WOMEN’S DESIRE THINK TANK:  A Workshop for Women On Female Sexuality
** How can we understand the complexities of female eros as we move through the phases of our lives—as we date or raise children or reach menopause?
** What is the relationship between lust and love? Between desire and monogamy?
** What does science have to teach us about orgasm—and what can a group of thoughtful women teach each other in discussion?
These are just a few of the areas to be addressed in this small workshop—a gathering that will combine the depth and intimacy of group therapeutic discussion with a depth of information. The group will be co-led by Anne Sikora and Daniel Bergner. Anne is a psychotherapist who has been in private practice for 18 years. She specializes in work with women’s issues and the creative process. Daniel is the award-winning author of The Other Side of Desire. He is a contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine; he has spoken about eros on NPR and the Charlie Rose Show; and his next book is about female desire.
When: Seven Tuesdays in April and May, 7-8:30 p.m.
Where: Cobble Hill, BrooklynÂ
Fee: $500
The group will be kept small; please contact Anne at annesikora@gmail.com or Daniel at bergnerdaniel@gmail.com if you would like to participate or would like more information.
