Indoor farmer's market on Atlantic Ave. between Hoyt and Bond.
Every Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: An indoor farmer’s market, called Foodshed, has opened on Atlantic Avenue between Hoyt and Bond, featuring not only farm fresh fruits, veggies and flowers but fine foods and meats from farms across the state, such as duck from Hudson Valley Duck in Ferndale, N.Y., dairy products from Calkin’s Creamery in Honesdale, Penn., and Drover Hill Farm dry aged beef from Earlville, N.Y. Fresh turkeys and honey will also be featured.
As the site states, “Besides staples like fresh vegetables and fruit, meats, milk and eggs, the Foodshed will feature regional vendors offering value-added products like cheeses, yogurt, ice-cream, jams, honey, sauces and salsas, milled grains, breads and baked goods, pickles and other healthy ferments, juices, ciders, wines and beers.”
