Sat., Nov. 27, 2 p.m.: Rhythms in Color, an exhibition of music, dance and modern art, at Galapagos Art Space. Rob Duguay’s Songevity Quartet plays his original music, which The New York Times has called a “literate and slightly tricky derivation of hard-bop.” Artist Ernani Silva, from Rio de Janeiro, presents paintings influenced by abstract, Brazilian and African styles. The band features Steve Wilson on sax, Justin Kauflin on piano, Rob Duguay on bass, Nadav Snir-Zelniker on drums.
Galapagos is a theater, dance, performance art, music, film and literary non-profit in Dumbo.
