There was a shooting Monday night on Lorraine Street in Red Hook. The victim was standing on the street in front of the Red Hook houses, where he lives, when he was shot twice at around 11 p.m. The injuries are not fatal, according to the 76th Precinct. The victim has an extensive drug arrest history, according to our police source. Detectives are investigating and as of yet, there’s no motive or suspects.
Meanwhile, a man was arrested Tuesday for a shooting several weeks ago that took place on Columbia Street. Officers saw the suspect on the street, and brought him in.
