A cult favorite among fashion editors and stylists, models and actresses, Catbird is the jewelry design factory and shop for the in-the-know, the brainchild of Carroll Gardens’ very own Rony Vardi. The store sits in Williamsburg but Catbird‘s website is a delightful place to be; a visual delight brimming with creative ideas if you are looking for rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings … Catbird is credited with creating the stacked ring phenomenon — as Vardi says, she always loved tiny, dainty rings and just started putting them one on top of the other. Now they are stacked on fingers from L.A. to Milan.
