With more news from Gary Buiso at Brooklyn Paper, many who live around Carroll between Hoyt and Bond streets will be happy to know that an illegal 40-foot steel structure on top of 333 Carroll Street will be removed. The developer attended a Carroll Gardens community meeting on Wednesday evening and said he would be accessible to the neighborhood and as helpful as possible. Here’s hoping for the best, as neighbors were long vexed by the structure.
The developer also said the building would be turned into 37 condos. Some drawings were presented but they didn’t seem to show much. The developers representative at the meeting said the building will be beautiful, and she believed neighbors would be very happy with it.
