I’ve taken these classes and they are great — babies and toddlers have so much fun at Music for Aardvarks, but the great thing is, so do the adults! The music is very catchy, and the dancing and participatory play gets you and up and moving.
Here’s a note from the talented and beloved music teacher Jo Solomon (a musician formerly of the indie band Stretch Princess), who is launching new music classes in Carroll Gardens:
We are excited to announce new Music for Aardvark classes are coming to the heart of Carroll Gardens!
These fun and dynamic classes explore music through song & gesture, dance & movement, rhythm training, and instrument play, using original music that celebrates the lives of children growing up in an urban environment.
Written by David Weinstone, songs like Taxi, City Kid, and Subway provide children with a positive image of their world and help them relate to their surroundings.
