Well, the Fourth of July Fireworks, put on by Macy’s, is again shunting Brooklyn and Queens and only producing the show over the Hudson River. Apparently, New Jerseyites get preference over Brooklynites and Queens residents. Bah, humbug.
Bloomberg says it would cost $2 million on police security to expand the show to the East River. But… why not JUST have it on the East River, to the benefit of the most city boroughs?
