Atlantic Avenue is just bursting with amazing boutiques these days. One wonders how they all stay open, but owners report that, with a dedicated clientele among designers in Manhattan, and the ever-more-gentrified residents of Boerum Hill (which just became the most-expensive neighborhood in Brooklyn), that business is good.
A little treat I fell across recently were these lovely antique silver knives, forks and spoons, and serving utensils at Greenhouse: EcoFriendly Living, a small housewares store with high-end, natural items for the home. The silverware is among some other small items — like lovely little bowls — that would make a nice, interesting gift for a friend who likes to entertain.
This isn’t a paid post, just something I saw that I liked… a hidden shop… one of so many on Atlantic Ave. that have the most incredible stuff. I don’t know, maybe I just felt like photographing silverware.
If I every DO do a paid-post — aka advertising — I’ll let you know.
