The fabulous husband-wife photography and video team Johannes Kroemer and Vanina Feldsztein, of Carroll Gardens, have put together another cool flick about an interesting local business. This one spotlights the only remaining slot car racetrack in New York City, the Buzz-A-Rama 500. The track is still owned and operated by the original owner, Buzz Perri, who opened shop in Kensington, Brooklyn in 1965.
Last winter, Johannes and Vanina did a film with me and South Brooklyn Post on Brooklyn Brine, a handmade gourmet pickle-maker in Gowanus. Great film, check it out.
