Controversial Homeless Shelter

Thursday The New York Times weighed in on the homeless shelter getting proposed for Carroll Gardens south–the hip edge, near Prime Meats. Earlier in the week, Capital New York, an online news site featuring in-depth reportage, sort of like South Brooklyn Post except covering the entire city, featured an indepth piece looking at the controversial homeless shelter proposed for Court and West 9th Street in Carroll Gardens. The proposal is under the microscope due its proposed location in our fast-further-gentrifying neighborhood.
