Reading @ 61 Local

By Lisa M. Collins

On Tuesday, November 1st, the Folding Chair will be hosting a reading by poets Eric Amling and Matvei Yankelevich, as well as the New York premiere screening of “Violent Obedience” by artist Ben Fain. This event is free and open to the public, and begins at 7 PM. More details here.

Downstairs from the mezzanine on Nov. 1, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. is 61 Local’s monthly Local Roots CSA pick-up, where local chef Renee Bauman hands out free pie samples and signs up people for pie-making class. You can find out more about Renee’s pie-making class here and here, and learn more about Renee here.

A link to 61 Local’s calendar is right here, including listings for a sausage making class.
