As anyone living around the Smith/9th Street F and G subway stop know, there’s a major reconstruction project going on there that’s going to shut the station for a year, beginning June 20. Right now, there’s no Manhattan-bound trains from the station.
Manhattan-bound Fs and Queens-bound Gs also aren’t running from Park Slope’s 15th St. stop and Windsor Terrace’s Fort Hamilton stop.
For more details check out the MTAs notice.
The Smith/9th St. station features The Culver Viaduct, that massive industrial thing over the street down there. It’s getting reconstructed. It’ll be nice when the project is done, as the stop really is in need of a facelift.
