Stabbing in Red Hook

There’s been lots going on lately on Columbia Street. On Friday, March 25, a man was stabbed in Red Hook, at the corner of Lorraine Street and Columbia Street.¬†An arrest of the perpetrator was made on Monday, March 28, according to police at the South Brooklyn 76th Precinct.

“It was determined that the stabbing was the result of a prior dispute between the perpetrator and the victim,” the police said.

Last week, a woman was struck by a van and killed as she was crossing Columbia Street. The van driver stayed at the scene. Georgia Kral has more on that:
