
Police at the 76 Precinct

There’s been lots going on lately on Columbia Street. On Friday, March 25, a man was stabbed in Red Hook, at the corner of Lorraine Street and Columbia Street. An arrest of the perpetrator was made on Monday, March 28, according to police at the South Brooklyn 76th Precinct.
“It was determined that the stabbing was the result of a prior dispute between the perpetrator and the victim,” the police said.
Last week, a woman was struck by a van and killed as she was crossing Columbia Street. The van driver stayed at the scene. Georgia Kral has more on that:
