Spring is here. Can't wait for the sun.

My prayer is that we have a Spring, a nice, long Spring, before it gets hot. Last summer, I hate to remind you, we had a summer that was hot as Hades, record heat, starting in late May. I’ll never forget catching a cab home from Bushwick because I was quite sure I’d melt if I walked to the bus.
Then it was hot, hot hot — 100 degrees, humidity, hard to move, no delight in being outdoors — till about September. Nice fall. Then winter was snow, snow, snow, and now, gray. Hard to tell if the rain will let up. Yesterday was 70! Today, 50. That’s OK, we’ll make it.
When the sunshine comes, we’ll dance in the streets.
