New York Times food section gives a favorable review to Mile End deli in Boerum Hill in the”$25 and under” feature of the paper. The article singles out the mishpucha soup ($12 a person).
“Served in a Chinese hot pot …it brims with fluffy matzo balls; delicate chicken-liver kreplach, or dumplings; mandlen, oyster-cracker-ish croutons; strands of lo mein; kale; carrots; and a hunk of pounded and poached chicken breast.”
But it’s not all lovey-dovey: the Times piece says many items were way too salty.
