Chaplin’s Grandson Wows

Through Nov. 14: The great silent film star, moviemaker and comedian Charlie Chaplin’s grandson James Thiérrée has been called “a master of theatrical spectacle.” In Raoul, making its U.S. debut at BAM, Thiérrée puts on a one-man show that has has critics singing the performer’s praises. In Raoul, Thiérrée, a trapeze artist, clown, magician and violinist, struggles in a beautiful, surreal landscape.
