Brooklyn Artists Open Studios

By Lisa M. Collins

Rachel Barrett's photography, including "Kale Road," above, will be showing at the Invisible Dog Art Gallery as part of the Go Studios exhibit Sept. 8 and 9.

This weekend, on Sept. 8 and 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., artists across Brooklyn are opening up their studios to show their work, sell a little and hang out. Visitors can vote online to determine who will get shown at the Brooklyn Museum. It’s all part of GO! Open Studios.

The New Yorker recommended creating an itinerary for yourself first.

So check out some great Brooklyn art and artists this weekend. Rachel Barrett’s photographs (above) are showing at the Invisible Dog art gallery at 51 Bergen, between Boerum Place and Smith.
