Editor’s Note: Happy Freeze Day

By Lisa M. Collins

Do you ever have one of those days where there’s so much to do, you sort of short out? Well, today feels like that kind of day. I hope you are having a better day than I am, and staying out of the cold. It’s 11 degrees, people, and that is bitter.

I might be having an obnoxious day today, but there’s exciting things in store this week at South Brooklyn Post. We have an exclusive inside look at one of the old-school cultural institutions in our midst, for a story we think you will be very interested in. That’s coming at you on Thursday, 10 a.m., same time, same place. We’ll have some good “Things to Do” listings coming at you then, as well.

Over the holidays, we’ll keep you up to date with goings on around here and cool stuff to do for adults and kids.

So, stick with us. We’re working on it. We’re in infant stages and growing by the moment. New writers are getting on board as we speak. Last week we welcomed Frederick Fooy, a local community-minded fellow who knows a lot about urban planning, the environment and local history. Frederick had a great piece about the salt pile mountain causing health and car-maintenance concerns in the Columbia Waterfront District. We’ll look for more good stories from Frederick.

Let us know what you’d like to see. Hit our comment button at the end of every story. We are listening.
