Kids frolic in the October snow storm
Photos by Johannes Kroemer
Check out these gorgeous photos by talented Carroll Gardens photographer Johannes Kroemer of our wacky snowstorm on Saturday, Oct. 29 in Brooklyn. Kroemer is a professional who specializes in skiing and ski resort photography, as well as extreme sports and portraits and editorial work for magazines–check out his website and the film company, Ninety-Nine Films, he runs with his wife, a fine-arts photographer and professional video technician, Vanina Feldsztein.
As for our snowstorm–it brought rain, sleet and waves of heavy snow to NYC–as much as 10 inches may accumulate overnight. But happily, Halloween Monday is predicted to be mostly sunny with highs in the 50s.
Lots of Fall Festival and Halloween events were cancelled Saturday due to the weather, but plenty of folks decided to make the most of it and try some snow frolicking.
Sunday is supposed to be mostly sunny and in the 40s. Monday night, the snow may start again. Wild.
