Fri., Sept. 23 to Sat., Sept. 24: DUMBO Underground presents Brooklyn Noir Benefit Party

The event Brooklyn Noir will raise funds for and awareness of Free Arts NYC, an innovative and largely successful nonprofit geared at providing under-served youth with opportunities for creative expression.

Why Free Arts NYC?
Within a few short years, spending on art and music in New York City public schools has plummeted an alarming 70%. Organizations like Free Arts NYC matter more than ever and need our support.

For the past 13 years, Free Arts NYC has provided under-served children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs that encourages participants to foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential. Free Arts NYC has provided fantastic programs to over 24,000 children and family members to date.

A portion of your ticket purchase and 100% of all sponsorship donations go directly to Free Arts NYC initiatives such as Weekly Mentor Programs, and Parents and Children Together with Art Program (PACT). Each ticket gets you admission to one of the hottest parties during the Dumbo Arts Festival 2011! Hors d’ourves, potent potables (booze), awesome raffle prizes (Beats by Dre Pro Headphones, One Night Stay at Westin Hotel Times Square, Denon AH-NC800 Headphones, and more!), burlesque, brass bands, great music and it’s all for the kids!
100% of raffle ticket sales go directly to Free Arts NYC.

For more information and how to get involved as a mentor at Free Arts NYC visit, www.freeartsnyc.org.

The event runs from 10 p.m. to Fri. to 3 a.m. on Sat, tickets start at $20: Get your tickets here
