Kids Events at MTA Museum

On Sat., Sept. 24 and Sun., Sept. 25, listen to costumed storyteller Mabel recount her experiences as the subway’s first female conductor in an interactive, imaginary ride on an IRT Local train. For ages 5+.

Then, on Sat., October 1,paint a vibrant underwater scene inspired by the Red Bird subway cars that now reside in the Atlantic Ocean as recycled homes to fish. For ages 4+.
1:30 p.m.

That same day, head to MTA Transit Museum’s Technology Lab for Transit Comic Strips. You’ll design transit-themed comic strips of your own using archival and current photos of buses and subways and Comic Life software. Space is Limited. Call (718) 694-1792 to reserve a spot. For ages 6+.
