The British band played 007 and other classics. They were fantastic.

Sunday’s annual block party on Third Street in Carroll Gardens was the talk of the town—this year was a blowout with a British police marching band (in town for Sept. 11 festivities), belly dancers and a feverish game of musical chairs in the street, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., not to mention the requisite bouncy house (free!) and an incredible face painter. This may have been the block party to end all block parties. Competition, anyone?
