Saturday April 2, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: PS 261 is at 314 Pacific Street bet Smith and Hoyt. For a $15 school donation, get a newly “fixed-up” used kids bike. Donate old kids bikes that you are no longer using–school volunteers will fix them up and give them to another family. If you need another one “swap” it for a “new used” kids bike from those available. Learn to ride a two-wheeler clinic for first-timers!
Hang around for bike games and other bike-oriented fun. Proceeds will fund PS261 PTA programs.
KIDS BIKE SWAP fee $15 – Bring your old kids bike in and get a new one from the bikes available. Refurbished kids bikes provided by Recycle-A-Bicycle
BIKE PURCHASE $25 – If you do not have a kids bike, this will get you a kids bike that is in working order. Recycle-A-Bicycle mechanics will be on hand to
make sure all bikes are safe and ready to ride.
