Saturday, April 2, 9 p.m.: Jimmy Ohio–a rockin’ soulful blues indie singer-songwriter from Detroit, yes, all of that–will play tracks from his new album, Basic Black, at Gutter Bar in Williamsburg. The album, from a Swiss label, was pressed in Berlin, and contains tracks culled from jam sessions in Detroit, where Jimmy played with Gories guitar phenom Danny Kroha.
It’ll be a great show.
