Canine Safety Workshops

By Alexandra Glorioso

Renee and Jimmy

Sat., Oct. 22. How To Meet A Dog: Canine Safety Workshops with Renee Payne CPDT-KA at ArtsCetera

Renee & Jimmy
Renee has gained recognition as one of the city’s top dog trainers, as seen in a recent NY Times article. In their “How To Meet A Dog” sessions, she presents the do’s and don’t’s of dog safety to dog-loving kids and those fearful of man’s best friend. Through music & puppet play with imaginary Arfie, and interaction with Renee’s gentle giant Jimmy, parents and kids come away with excellent skills to enjoy our urban doggie landscape.

$25 per family, includes “How To Meet a Dog” CD, and a paw-tographed copy of Renee’s book, “Be A Dog’s Best Friend: A Safety Guide for Kids”. Limited space – 15 children max per session. $25 per family, $20 with advance reservation;  just send an email with Canine Safety as the subject line.
