Brooklyn Arts Council is now accepting grant applications.

Brooklyn Arts Council Community Arts Grants help fund project-based work by individual artists and nonprofit organizations in all artistic disciplines. Capacity-building grants for Brooklyn-based nonprofit organizations are also available. All grants are available solely to individual artists and to organizations with Brooklyn (Kings County) residency to support projects taking place in Brooklyn…more info.

Brooklyn-based artists, collective and 501c3 nonprofits are invited to apply for: Local Arts Support, Community Arts Fund, and The Artist-Community Collaboration Award. The deadline for these grants is Thurs., Sept 22, 2011.

Brooklyn-based 501c3 nonprofit arts organizations are invited to apply for: JP Morgan Chase Capacity Building Regrant. The deadline for this grant it Thurs., Nov. 17, 2011.
