Seining the River Wild

Sat., June 11: Seining the River Wild: Watch scientists use a 20-foot seining net to catch and release fish and other East River creatures. Participate in a site-specific scavenger hunt and play a game of Finding Niches in between hauls.

For all programs near the water please wear shoes or sandals suitable for walking on a rocky beach, and be comfortable getting wet.

All Children must be accompanied by an adult. All ages.

Free.

Two Sessions:

10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Limit 50/Session

Main Street, beach under the Manhattan Bridge
