A new condo building, known as 360 Smith Street, is nearly completed, as is the construction on the new entrance to the F train Carroll stop, at Smith Streets and Second Place in Carroll Gardens. The new train entrance will be a welcome addition, long awaited. Katia Kelly, the local blogger, has a writeup with lots of photos about the new condo building and subway entrance. She quite does not like the look of the building, calling it “out of character” with the neighborhood, but we think it looks pretty nice. It is seven-stories high, which is higher than most buildings around there, which are three stories high. Some yards may get shaded. What do you think?
