La Lunetta’s chef, Adam Shepard, said his new ramen bar, already creating some excitement after it was launched for a one-night gig on Dec. 1, will take place at La Lunetta on a “frequent but irregular” basis from here on out, and the next one should happen “soon.” Very mysterious! He suggests following the restaurant on twitter or facebook to get notices of when the events will take place. Perhaps an easier method would be to follow our restaurant section right here at South Brooklyn Post.
Mostly, the ramen bar will open up after hours, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., but occasionally, Shepard will do a “longer day session,” perhaps on holidays, he said.
The ramen bar will take place at La Lunetta, a lovely little Italian restaurant on Smith Street. Before it was Lunetta, it was Taku, Shepard’s ramen and Japanese restaurant that delighted the critics but closed in less than a year.
The menu for the new late night bar will feature noodles, spicy chicken wings, and Koshihikari beer.
