Mon., Dec. 27, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: NYC Resistor Hackerspace hosts its weekly Luna Lazzzor Mondays. Work on your projects during a laser focused open hack night. The laser will be available on a first-ready first-served single job basis. If you haven’t been trained on the laser, you will need to enlist the assistant of an operator. Look for the hacker with an eye patch.
Are you confused as to why you would attend Luna Lazzzor Mondays or what NYC Resistor Hackerspace is? I thought you might be. Here is some more info.
This is what NYC Resistor has to say for themselves:
What is NYC Resistor?
NYC Resistor is a hacker collective with a shared space located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. We meet regularly to share knowledge, hack on projects together, and build community. If you’re interested in joining NYC Resistor, come to some of our public meetings or join the NYC Resistor mailing list.
You can visit the website: nycresistor.com, to find out more information, join on facebook (search NYCResistor), or suscribe to the blog.
So… what is up with the laser? Here’s what: NYC Resistor has a laser! They offer classes once a month, the weekly laser workshops (Luna Lazzzor Mondays), and lasering service for people with projects but little laser learning time.
