Hey folks: We are celebrating our one-month anniversary at South Brooklyn Post. Thanks for the 14,000 pages read during that time! Let us know how we can improve, what you like and don’t like, and keep coming with the story tips. Thanks for all the input.
Keep checking back on Thursdays at 10 a.m. for our weekly feature on something that interests or affects South Brooklyn—Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Gowanus, Red Hook, Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo. We hope you keep checking in throughout the week. About every other day, we’re publishing indepth features on local business owners, restauranteurs and the like. We’re working on some cool stuff about local designers, artists, environmental issues, all the good stuff.
We also are pumping up our events listings—South Brooklyn Post is your one-stop location for all the best in the arts, music, kids events, holiday shopping bazaars and etc. in and around South Brooklyn. We’re always looking for stuff to do that’s close by, and figure you are, too.
For those of you who like to write and take photos, we are launching a “Vacations Exposed” feature. If you have an interesting vacation coming up that you might like to write about for South Brooklyn Post, let us know.
Finally, we are looking for writers to contribute. We are mainly looking for experienced writers and journalists. But if you’ve a passion to write, let us know. There’s lots going on and we’re looking for people with knowledge and passion about local shopping, the arts, food and design.
