charno4.com
Every Tuesday through Feb. 22, 5 p.m.: Toss on some snow boots and head to Char No. 4 to warm yourself at South Brooklyn’s whiskey-and meat-worshipping restaurant’s “Chili Season” event. Time Out New York highlighted the event in its winter eating and drinking guide. The mecca for Bourbon and barbecue is offering a bowl of smoked short-rib and pork-shoulder chili, with bacon-jalapeño corn bread and honey butter. Wash it down with a complimentary beer-and-whiskey combo that will change each week. $22 per head.
Char No. 4 features over 150 American whiskeys and serves a menu of American fare with a Southern influence.
