
BAM's 2010 Next Wave Art Exhibit

Through Dec. 19: BAM twice-a-year exhibit of Brooklyn’s up-and-coming visual artists at its Howard Gilman Opera House Lobby, the BAMcafé, and BAM Harvey Theater.
Established in 2002, Next Wave Art is a three-month exhibition concurrent with the Next Wave Festival. Organized by celebrated curator Dan Cameron, the exhibition’s aim has been to showcase the work of emerging, Brooklyn-based artists. Past exhibitions have included artists such as Barbara Probst, Yuken Teruya, Wangechi Mutu, Chris Doyle, and Jean Shin.
