Sat., Sept. 10: As the Third Street Block Association holds its big annual party, the Carroll Gardens Assoociation is sponsoring the Annual Columbia Street Waterfront Fall Festival.

This year’s events will take place Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Smith Street to the Gowanus Canal. Admission is free to all who wish to attend. There’ll be a Budweiser truck and Port-a-Potties, belly dancers, British Bobbies marching (they’re here for Sept. 11 memorials), rides for kids, games for adults and more.

The Columbia Street Waterfront Fall Festival is an annual street fair in the little waterfront district with merchants, food vendors, entertainers, and thousands of visitors. This year’s event features the North Shore Animal League Adoption Trailer, live music, rides, games, and shopping.

The Street Fair stretches from the intersections of DeGraw to Union on Columbia Street and from the intersections of Columbia to Hicks on Union Street, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
