Thurs., Feb. 10 to Sat, Feb. 12: The Brooklyn Youth Chorus and St. Ann’s Warehouse have teamed up to present the world premiere of Tell the Way, a new composition by Nico Muhly expressly for the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. The guitarist Bryce Dessner (The National, Clogs), the sitarist Bishi and the banjo/fiddle player Sam Amidon helped write the production and will perform with Muhly onstage.

Tell the Way will fill the vast St. Ann’s Warehouse with a grand and polyglot sound. Loosely based on medieval and colonial English travel narratives, Muhly’s music is propulsive travel-music, but at the heart of Tell The Way are three meditative collaboration. ACME, a dynamic ensemble of strings, percussion, piano, and flute will augment the presentation.
